Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity

The great Martin Luther King, once said "I have a dream".
Sometimes it is the knowledge, which moves people to try to make this world a better place.
We, who have suffered the atrocities of this world, sometimes feel we have no hope, no voice, no right to complain. We feel the world is the way it is, and since we have seen nothing better since our youngest age, we are groomed for acceptance. Although we may know nothing beyond our own pain and suffering, it does not change the reality that there exist a place of happiness and joy. It does not change that we our victims of some of the greatest crimes against humanity. It does not make it right.
We can be born into a world with boundaries and closed doors. We raised to believe there is nothing better outside of these four walls, and that we must find contentment within ourselves. But, thank God Almighty, that some venture outside and see that others are not the same as we are. They see that though they too were once confined they are now free. It only takes one person speaking out to begin a revolution that can unlock the doors for millions. It is that person, who is so grateful for their freedom, so filled with inspiration and hope, that their greatest desire is for others to have it too.
To feel permanently flawed and beyond hope, is exactly what the enemy wants. I know, for I have felt that complete sense of irreplaceable pain and suffering. I have known the false truth of my own demise. I have believed and clung to the notion that I am destined for failure. It has filled me with resentment and anger. I have ached to my bones with violent storms raging inside, while the rest of the world slept comfortably in the peace of the night.
Nonetheless, I was finally set free, and I now know that not one of us is bound by the limitations of affliction. The shackles can be removed and the mountains that guard our hearts can be torn down. The walls will be removed, and a path revealed to the gate that has no restrictions. A sovereign nation of elation and delight; where all are welcome to reside.
