Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity
First Things First
I never tried to blog post before but I am giving it a try.
I am hear to learn, gain knowledge and maybe make my life a little easier as I travel through the forest.
A person never knows what is going to happen to them in their lifetime.
I would think most people would agree with that one.
My favorite quote is from the movie Forrest Gump.
"Life is like a box of chocolates you never know what you will get!"
Life has brought to me many experiences good and bad.
The best thing in my life are my two teen age sons.
Both young men now. Time sure has flown by.
Within a couple years they both will be done with school and out on their merry way.
Of course they will have decisions and choices to make as they always have.
I have told them the reality that they can't pick and choose their parents though.
Sometimes a grim reality at that but none the less true.
My philosophy lately has been simply "It Is What It Is."
The only person one can change is themselves.
I hope I will and be able to leave them with a legacy of change.
It is hard just as it is for everyone else.
Not just in one's day to day life but especially when one wants to stop such things that we all
have unwilling picked up by our ancestors.
Including past and present ancestors.
I hope by striving and being willing to open such a chapter in my life that change comes forth,
for the future of my sons and the future World in which we live.
If one person starts than hopefully others will follow.
Here is to the future of the World. Make it Change One Soul or Personality at a Time.
It is 5:26 a.m. I need to get some sort of sleep now before I pass out at this computer for
lack of sleep. Thank God for good things like coffee, sugar and creamer. lol

I enjoyed your blog. I too have teens. I feel sometimes I am running out of time to make changes big enough that will count for them. This is my first blog as well. I am reaching out for support while i try to stop my abusive behavior and to try to stop hating myself.
