Moonlight Sonata is just one of the gifts I've gotten since joining in with ORS people. You are right that I value 12 Step recovery more after living with teens again. Out of all my losses I've been able to see with gratitude the blessings that God has given in the midst of grief and loss. For most of my life I've had a mostly positive outlook but with 12 Step as a foundation all things have been built on solid ground as I move into this phase of my life.

To find new friends through this websight is just one more way in which God supports me through this journey. Blessings to you and others who have added so much wisdom and experience to others. This venue is what the 12th Step is all about, isn't it!

How do we use recovery to stay in the moment and be our true self?

Last night at a 12 Step recovery meeting this was the topic. I want to practice one of the things I heard about praying to my higher power who is the Ultimate One in control of my life...I just need to remember to Let Go and Let God....Bette P

Grandkids

Along with my husband we are raising two of our three granddaughters, ages 15 and 13. Our 17 year old granddaughter resides with her fiance about 20 minutes away. Without 12 Step recovery this journey would look very different.
