Healing is a matter of time, but it is sometimes also a matter of opportunity

As I spoke with someone the other day, I asked them for feedback. I told her, good or bad I want the truth. As I already knew about this person, the truth is what she preferred too.

"You have read my book", I said. "Tell me your thoughts about the book, and the fourteen phases of healing."

Her first response was, "I am not alone." "Oh my gosh", she said, "I didn't realize someone else had gone through the things I had been through."
"I wish I had the book a long time ago," she said.

"What do you think about the fourteen phases of healing," I asked?

"It gives a guideline to go by, and that is vary important," she said.

"Do you think this book can help others," I asked?

"Oh, absolutely" she said.

We continued our discussion, and spoke of ways to get the word out there, so that others would know there is hope, and could use these fourteen phases of healing in there journey towards becoming a strong and healthy survivor.

Sometimes, the most worthwhile things in life, take tremendous amounts of work and dedication. I can say from my own experience, that the rewards seemed that much greater because it did not come easy.

Are you, or have you placed your healing journey on hold? Does your Therapist want you to remember things you have locked away? If so, what do you do with them once they are revealed? How can the past, provide insight into the person you are today? How can triggers be used to help you change the way you act, react, or interact? Can knowing the catalyst to your emotional unrest, help you to change the dialogue that goes on in your head? Can you change the way you feel, act, react, or behave to given situations? Is behavior associated with habits? Can you take an approach to form new habit that come without thought, and are a natural form of your new life?

There are answers to all of these questions and they can assist you in becoming the person you want to be. You can be a Strong and Healthy Survivor. So, what are you waiting for? The time is now, "The Survivor" is here. The choice is yours, and happiness is now up to you.
