Childhood wounding
Hello everyone,
I am Linda and I recently started the group for Incest and Sex Abuse Recovery on here.
Many people who fall into addiction patterns had some form of childhood wounding....neglect,
abuse, some even had sexual abuse.
I spent many years in Adult Children of Alcoholics meetings and Adult Children of
Dysfunctional Families meetings before I was able to get down to some of the core issues
around deeply buried child sexual abuse traumas.
You may not remember now, or you may not be ready to deal with these painful topics yet,
but want you to know that if/when you're ready....you'll be welcome with us.
Whereever you are on your journey...day one or 1001, I salute you and your courage to
heal.
